What was broken
About 3,000 member records lived in the NAR system. Outreach ran in VoterVoice. The two didn't connect, so every legislative session meant 50+ hours of exports and re-uploads.
What I did
- Rebuilt the member website in Wix Studio, resources up front
- Made a Google Sheet the source of truth between NAR and VoterVoice
- n8n matches members on NAR ID when emails disagree
- Sync errors land in the sheet, so staff fix them without a developer
What happened after
The full list syncs in the background in about 15 minutes. For the first time, outreach can target active and inactive members separately during a session.
