What was broken
Cuba Travel Services books legal travel to Cuba, with a small IT team. It needed a developer who could learn its booking rules fast without breaking what worked.
What I did
- Restaurant reservations with cutoff rules the cart enforces
- Whole-house and per-room rates
- Stop-sale dates blocked at checkout
- Old OpenCart rates migrated and checked for parity
What happened after
Both modules were built in a two-week sprint. Staff change rates and availability without code, and the work has continued on a monthly retainer since April 2026.
