The situation
The challenge
Stacia is a senior copywriter with more than twenty years of work across thirty-plus brands. After a layoff, she needed her portfolio to be findable, presentable, and easy to update without relying on a developer every time she landed a new sample.
The existing materials were scattered across files, decks, and old links. The goal was not just a prettier site, but a system: a reusable CMS where she could add a new work sample by filling out a post, not by rebuilding a page.
The work
What was built
I rebuilt the site on WordPress with Elementor, structuring the portfolio around a custom post type. Each sample gets its own entry with consistent fields for client, role, industry, and outcome. The front end pulls from the same source, so the design stays coherent no matter how many samples she adds.
I recorded a handoff walkthrough showing her exactly how to add, edit, and reorder work samples. The site is built so she never needs a developer again for routine updates.
The outcome
Results
A self-service portfolio that grows with her career. Stacia can add new work samples in minutes, and the site stays clean and consistent without calling a developer.
