The situation
The challenge
Annie Wedgewood served as the 2025 President of Wyoming REALTORS. Her brokerage website was a GoDaddy page that barely existed. It couldn't reliably surface listings, was hard to update, and didn't reflect a team at that level of the industry. The goal: a platform that matched the caliber of the people behind it.
Real estate sites have a layer of complexity most web projects don't. Getting live MLS listing data onto a site requires board approvals, display rule compliance, and a third-party data provider in the middle. The original plan called for Showcase IDX. After evaluating MLS compatibility for Wyoming's specific data sources, IDX Broker was the right call. That course correction happened before a line of code was written.
The integration had its own wrinkle. IDX Broker serves listing search pages from their subdomain, not from WordPress. Styling has to happen in two completely separate environments at once. WordPress handles the site shell. IDX Broker's admin panel handles everything buyers see when they search. Getting both to read as one coherent brand meant matching the same visual decisions across two environments that don't share a design language.
Altitude had no formal brand guidelines, just a logo. The full color palette was derived from it: deep Wyoming maroon as the primary, dusty rose accent, warm off-white background. That palette was translated into custom CSS across both environments, covering search forms, listing cards, buttons, map styling, mobile layouts, and typography.
The work
What was built
A full WordPress site with a homepage, individual pages for all six agents, an about page, a contact form with lead routing, and a home maintenance checklist lead magnet. Active IDX-integrated property search pulling from three Wyoming MLS territories: the Teton MLS, the Northeast Wyoming REALTOR Alliance, and the Wyoming MLS. Elementor page builder means Annie's team can update content without touching code.
Mid-project, one agent's listings weren't showing up at all. An Agent ID mismatch between the IDX Broker widget configuration and the MLS feed assignment. One audit, one targeted fix, and her listings were live. Small thing. Real impact for a working agent.
The outcome
Results
Live site with active listing search across three MLS territories. Six agent profiles. Full brand cohesion across both environments. Team manages content and inventory without developer help.
