The situation

The challenge

A stealth EdTech startup in the Dominican Republic needed to move from a compelling vision to a working demo that could stand up in front of government stakeholders, educators, and the country's Vice President. The timeline was tight, the stakes were high, and the product needed to feel real enough to earn national recognition.

My role was architectural lead: translate the concept into a coherent product structure, choose the right rapid-prototyping stack, and guide the team toward a demo that told a clear story without over-engineering anything before it had been validated.

The work

What was built

I used Bolt.new as the rapid build layer, Google Antigravity for structured backend support, and MagicPath for the learning-journey logic. The combination let us move fast without painting the team into a corner: the demo looked and felt like a real product, but the architecture could still evolve after feedback.

I focused the demo around the user journey that mattered most to judges: a learner moving from first interaction to a meaningful outcome. Every technical decision served that narrative.

The outcome

Results

The initiative was named a national finalist in the Dominican Republic. The team walked away with a demo strong enough to present at the highest level and an architecture that could keep growing.
